I love the position and focus on this bird. It really stands out with the background bokeh. That little red dot on the back of it's head adds alot, like a beauty mark! I'd like to know what lens you used, and focal length? Very nice!
Very striking. I like the composition, intense dark (with a little red!), and the blurred background. The placement of the birds head and the Y branching of the tree is visually strong and pleasing. I also like the patch of dark under the bird - can't tell if that's tail feathers or shadow? Great photo.
